High-Efficiency Flame Retardant Synergist SF-400 for Polymers
Usage Notes:
Due to the low additive amount of SF-400 in flame-retardant resins, it is recommended to pre-mix it with other additives before blending with the resin to ensure uniform dispersion and stable flame-retardant performance.
Packaging/Storage:
25 kg/bag. Transport as general chemicals. Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
Product Description
SF-400 is an eco-friendly silicon-based flame retardant synergist. It exhibits excellent synergistic effects with halogen-based flame retardants and provides smoke suppression. It fully complies with EU environmental regulations such as the 2002/95/EC Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive and REACH.
SF-400 can replace 100% of antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃), significantly reducing the cost of flame-retardant polymers. It features high thermal stability, extremely low water solubility and hygroscopicity, and remains stable during high-temperature processing without discoloration, decomposition, hydrolysis, or adverse effects on electrical properties.
