Product Description
FR-ADP04 is a white powder, surface-activated phosphorus-nitrogen organic aluminum salt flame retardant. It is primarily used in PBT, PET (including glass-fiber-reinforced and non-reinforced), and nylon series engineering plastics. It synergizes effectively with nitrogen-containing flame retardants to achieve superior flame retardancy while maintaining excellent mechanical strength.
The proprietary large-particle-size treatment process minimizes premature decomposition of the flame retardant caused by shear during polymer granulation, ensuring material performance and color stability.

Applications
1. PBT/PET Applications:
● Specifically designed for use in glass-fiber-reinforced PBT/PET and non-reinforced PBT/PET.
● Flame-retardant PBT/PET exhibits excellent mechanical and electrical properties.
● For glass-fiber-reinforced PBT, 10–12% by weight of FR-ADP04 combined with nitrogen-containing flame retardants typically meets UL94 V-0 (at 1.6mm thickness) requirements. Dosage may vary depending on formulations and processing conditions.
2. Nylon 6 (Glass-Fiber-Reinforced):
● Synergizes with nitrogen-containing flame retardants. Addition of ~18% achieves UL94 V-0 at 0.8mm thickness.
