    Product Description

    FR-AMP (N) is a newly developed cost-effective phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant with excellent flame-retardant properties and strong compatibility with polymer substrates. This product contains no red phosphorus, eliminating the risk of acidic byproducts caused by moisture absorption in red phosphorus-based additives, which can adversely affect product performance.


    Additionally, flame-retardant nylon products treated with FR-AMP (N) exhibit high whiteness and transparency, enabling diverse color solutions and broader application scenarios for modified flame-retardant materials.

    Applications

    1. Nylon 66 (Glass-Fiber Reinforced & Unreinforced): Addition of 16 phr achieves UL94 V-0 rating at 1.6mm thickness.

    2. PBT/PET Polyesters: Addition of 14 phr achieves UL94 V-0 rating at 1.6mm thickness. The product exhibits high thermal stability without causing material decomposition.

    3. Performance Advantages:

    Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) up to 600V.

    Low density.

    Minimal dosage required to achieve UL94 V-0 flame retardancy or Glow-Wire Flammability Index (GWFI) of 960℃, far lower than other non-red-phosphorus flame retardants.

    ● Negligible impact on the mechanical properties of the compound.
